The Banderites stopped a train in which fugitives from the area were in three freight wagons, set fire to the wagons with their property and murdered 28 Poles, while a 78‑year‑old Polish teacher whose tongue was cut off in the hospital died.

On May 13, 44 the reg[ional] militia set an ambush on Poles who were going from Niemirów to Rawa. As a result, 20 Poles were liquidated. During the fight, the Poles fired at each other, but we have no casualties.
