At the end of June 1943, returning from a conspiratorial meeting, together with his collaborator, one of the daughters of Jan Borowski from Brzezina, Marian Kobylański was ambushed by Ukrainian nationalists and was stabbed with bayonets, but not to death but left in the crop, still alive, to die in torment and elapse. blood. „An associate of” (probably cooperated with the Ukrainians), she arrived alive and healthy to Rafałówka where she told about the event. Marian's brother–in–law, Andrzej Socha from Brzezina, married to Marian's sister Michalina, organized an aid unit and, under the protection of several German Wehrmacht soldiers, went to the rescue, but he was already dead.

In Dąbrowa estate; Porada, Rafałówka, Sernikowa Niwa, Setkówka, Kruszewo, Krasna Góra, Janówka, Grabina, Giedrojciówka, Purbejówka colonies; and Struga grange — all in Sarny county, the Ukrainian UPA and peasants slaughter the Polish population.
