Rafajłowa

Upowcy robbed and burned Polish farms and murdered 20 Poles, whole families.
During Holy Week, the Banderites and Ukrainian peasants murdered the Polish population in the villages of: Limanowa – 46 Poles. Majdan – 10 Poles, Pasieczna – 107 Poles, Rafajłowa – 20 Poles, Weleśnica – 17 Poles.

The following were murdered by the UPA: forester Antoni Duda and his wife, forest manipulator Leopold Grygorski–Polo, forest manipulator Stefan Bott with his family, gamekeeper Marian Ostrowski, forester Józef Polak, b. 1894.
