Orthodox feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: The Ukrainians attacked the people gathered in the church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary from 1734 and murdered 54 Poles, also burned the church; there were many more victims in the village. „One of the Ukrainians impaled a Polish child on a pitchfork and lifted it up, shouting: divis, Polish eagle”.
