In September 1943, during the UPA raid [on the village, brickyard and forester's lodge, in parish and community Lubieszów,] 15 people were murdered: 1–5. Czereniuk Władysław with his wife Maria and daughters: Kazimiera, Władysława and Zuzanna 6–7. Piekarski in with his wife in 8–9. Zybura Franciszek and his wife Zuzanna née Bielak 10–13. Zybura Maria (Władysław's wife) during childbirth, her baby and sons Henryk and Franciszek 14–15. Zybura Helena and her son (infant).

(Polesie province): „a friend of the Zybur family, an old Ukrainian woman, after 64 years, indicates the probable place of burying the remains of the murdered and burnt together with the house in October 1943 by 9 members of the Zybur family and the Piekarski couple. The criminals asked by a Ukrainian woman in Pożóg for what they would beat Poles for, replied that «had been given such an order to kill Poles and Jews»”.
