The Ukrainians burned alive a 6–person Polish family of the village leader: his wife, mother–in–law and children aged 5, 11 and 14; the mayor was absent from the house. Komański on p. 123 states that in the village of Poruczyn, In January 1944, Brzeżany murdered Tekla Kinal with 3 children and Maciej Lipiński and his wife. Others: „In the summer of 1944, Maciej Lipiński, a farmer, around 60, in Porzecze, was murdered; his wife's brothers murdered him, and because she also threatened and cried, they murdered her; this is Lipiński's wife, around 50, a Ukrainian woman (her brothers murdered her). In Porzecze that year, they burned alive the entire family of the former mayor of Kinal, ie the wife of Tekla, about 36 years old, and three children, 10, 8 and 2 years old, they also murdered another woman, an unknown name”.
