The Banderites murdered 20 Poles, including two Kleszczyński families. Photographic documentation of one murdered family can be found in Aleksander Korman's book Genocide of the UPA on the Polish Population. They died: Jan Kleszczyński, 38, his wife Tekla, 37, their daughter Anna, 13, and their son Stanisław, 8, and their son Stanisław, 8, gouged out the eyes of the naked victims, attacked the head with an ax, burned their hands with fire, tried to cut off their upper limbs and the lower ones, they inflicted stab wounds all over the body.
