The UPA, belonging to the village of Torskie, attacked at 5 am and murdered 31 Poles; most of them burnt alive in buildings after being robbed; among the victims there were only 2 men over 17, the rest were women and children; among others: an advanced pregnant mother with 4 children, 2 mothers with 2 daughters, a pregnant mother and her 3‑year‑old son, mother with daughters: 17, 19 and 23.
