Poczekajka
In our neighborhood, there was also a lot of talk about the death of Jan Roch, who, according to human speculations, at the end of July 1943 went somewhat „tipsy for” courage to the village of Poczekajka. He learned that the Ukrainians had taken a Pole with them from the house with a wagon and his horses, and so far the farmer had not returned. Jan, who knew some The Ukrainians in the area, hoped that if he spoke up for this Pole, he might even save his life. However, when he went, he did not come back anymore, and he and that peasant lost his hearing, one and the other. So people in our country thought they were both murdered. The fact is that in those difficult times, who the Ukrainians took with them to „Postpant”, almost certainly did not come back.
