Also in April, in the village of Pniewno, Widmuka's gang murdered six Poles. It is noteworthy that Widmuk was the commander of the Ukrainian police in Pniewno and with the entire police station he went to the forest, creating a large UPA unit, thus posing a great threat to the Polish population.

The first victim murdered on the road from Lubieszów on June 24, 1943 was the parish priest Józef Szostak, murdered together by a monk from Lubieszów, Piotr of the Piarist Order.

In September 1943, two Polish families, 1. Kwiatkowska Marianna, 54 (Zofia's mother) 2–3, were murdered by Ukrainian nationalists. Zofia née Kwiatkowska, age 25 with her daughter, age 3 4–8. NN family (5 people).
