[The Ukrainians] stopped 40‑year‑old Kazimierz Tracz while transporting grain, kidnapped him to the forest and tortured him there: they hammered splinters under his fingernails, removed the skin from his body, then hung him on a tree so that he would not suffocate and lit a fire under him, burned his legs until he died. Earlier, on the night of February 8–9, they had murdered his 38‑year‑old wife.
