Forester Jerzy Żelazny b. 1916, Home Army soldier, abducted from the Rąbana forester's lodge, tortured and murdered by the UPA, found after a week and buried near the chapel in the church yard in Podkamień.

In the spring of 1944, Wanda, Michał and Danuta Wolanin were murdered. „Michał Wolanin was the manager of the distillery and he was murdered there, his wife, my father's sister Wanda and her 11‑year‑old daughter Danusia were killed a few days later. It is not known where” was buried so far.
