Ukrainian policemen and the Gestapo shot 15 Poles brought from Hrubieszów. „Only 10 surnames were established: Franciszek Czajka from the village of Zawałowa, Jan Gajewski (24 years old), Henryk Jędruszczak (20 years old), Władysław Kamiński (21 years old) from the village of Trzeszczany, Edward Krzyżanowski, Tadeusz Pomiankiewicz, Józef Pupeć, Stanisław Rutkowski, Czesław Sobczuk, Stanisław Żarek”.
