According to Father Remigiusz Kranc, over the course of 3 months of 1943 (most likely in the second quarter) he buried the victims of the attack in the Roman Catholic cemetery in Ostrog in 154 boxes containing 3–4 bodies, i.e. about 560 people, killed or burned, from the countryside, colonies and futors of the Ostroh parish.
