Omelno
Witness Józef Koziński (born in 1932 in the village of Omelno): „I was born in Ukraine. The village is called Omelno. It is near Rokitno, some 20 kilometers [distant]. My father's grandfather left Krakow, there for Wołyń, he was a forester, because there were large forests there, we also lived there, we lived there. We had a very good relationship with the Ukrainians… […] Someone went, my uncle went to the forest, he never came back, and there they took him to Sakłów. It is close to Sech [today Tomaszogród]. And they murdered him there. And there they murdered terribly, because they took their eyes out, cut off their tongues, broke their hands”.
