Excerpt from the report of the interrogation of Wiktor Stram on May 20, 1945 by an employee of the Security Service of the OUN about the murder of 8 Ukrainians from the MO post in Olszanica:
In January and February 1945, 8 (eight) people were murdered at the militia MO post in Olszanica. They were Ukrainians escaping from Germany from forced labor. Two of the murdered came from Daszówka near Ustrzyki Dolne. The commander himself did it on his own in a very conspiratorial manner”.

In the village of Olszanica, poviat Lesko, the UPA attacked the railway line on the section Uherce – Stefkowa, poviat Lesko, capturing, among others, the railway station in Olszanica — the number of Polish losses is unknown. According to Siekierka, 11 soldiers of the Polish Army and 9 civilians were killed in the UPA attack on Olszanica; 2 soldiers of the Polish Army and one civilian according to Syrnyk.

On the night of May 6‑7, 1946 at 23:00, the UPA gang attacked the railway section between Olszanica and Ustianowa, Lesko, while shelling the railway station in Olszanica and bridges, two soldiers were killed as a result of the defense of these facilities by the Polish Army unit”.
