Olchowiec
It just so happens that I am emotionally connected with this issue, because my parents come from the Bóbrka county in the former province. Lviv. From the stories of my deceased mother, I know that her family living in the village of Olchowiec experienced harm from the Ukrainians. Only my mother, about seven years old, and her younger sister survived the fire–attacked farm buildings and set them on fire. Her parents Władysław and Maria Noworol, brother Edward and her grandmother were murdered. The body was placed in a common grave in a nearby cemetery.

Siekierka et al. […] do not mention any victims from this village by name.

Sz. Siekierka, H. Komański, K. Bulzacki […] noted: „In the spring of 1944 most Poles left their farms and took refuge in safer places. The abandoned farms were looted and burned by the Bandera followers. They murdered 10” people during this time under various circumstances.
