The Ukrainians abducted 3 Poles: 38‑year‑old Maria Paszkowska, 42‑year‑old Rozalia Zdebiak and her 14‑year‑old son Kazimierz. „Thanks to the information of a Ukrainian acquaintance, we got to the forester's lodge, where in a nearby, not too deep well, we found the bodies of the murdered. Examination of the body showed signs of torture: for example, Maria and Rozalia had their eyes gouged out, the skin from their breasts torn off, and the 14‑year‑old Kazio had as many as seven stab wounds stabbed with a knife or bayonet in the heart area. There was no doubt that all three were martyred by”.
