The Banderites murdered 12 Poles. „In the deanery of Skałat, in the parish of Grzymałów, in the town of Windows, on the estate of Count Zaleski, on December 8, 1943, twelve Poles were murdered with axes and clubs, and their bodies were removed without a trace of”.

During the night, they murdered 13 Poles in the count Zalewski's estate, including a family of five and three young children. The attackers took the body with them. „A few days later the bodies of the murdered were hanging on telephone poles together with the hanged inhabitants of the village of Eleonorówka”.
