Odrzechowa

Excerpt from the report of the head of the Investigative Section of the KPMO in Sanok about the murder of a Ukrainian woman, Kateryna Melnyk in Odrzechowa, by unknown perpetrators:
On October 2, 1945, around 10.30 p.m., 4 armed individuals entered Katarzyna Melnyk's apartment in Odrzechowa, who, after terrorizing the house, robbed 4 cows. and 1 mare. During the robbery, the injured Melnyk Katarzyna started screaming, so one of the perpetrators shot her with a revolver, which hit her in the larynx, which ended her life. The perpetrators headed towards Rymanów, shooting and throwing a grenade in front of the Melnyk house”.
