Excerpt from the situation report of the Citizens' Militia from Rzeszów about the murder by a gang of Poles against Ukrainians in Biała near Rzeszów:
„On February 20, 1945, around 10 a.m., a dozen or so civilians armed with automatic machines and revolvers came to the village of Biała, Rzeszów poviat. They had a list of Ukrainians living there, which is:
Łuka Józef, b. 1901;
Łuka Piotr, b. 1909;
Łuka Piotr (second), b. 1914;
P [r] uc Andrzej, b. 1911;
Choma Stefan, b. 1900;
Pełczyński Antoni, b. 19016;
Pruc Antoni, b. 190[?];
Pruc Michał, b. 1885;
Michałek Tomasz, aged 52,
whom they shot”.
