Fragment of the translation of the notification of Father Wasyl Hrynyk to the Greek Catholic bishop's curia in Przemyśl about the murder of 4 Ukrainians in Nehrybka by unknown bandits:
The Greek Catholic Przemyśl Dean Office in Przemyśl with regret informs about the tragic death of the venerable priest of the city of Przemyśl, venerable father Petro Wojtowycz, who died at the hands of bandits on Easter May 6, 1945 around 10 am. in the evening at the presbytery in Nehrybka, together with his wife Stefania née Śliwiński, son Jarosław, a candidate for the clergy, and servant Anna Mychałyk.
On the tragic evening, about 10 bandits attacked the presbytery in Nehrybka, they deceived them as if they were [illegible], having obtained access to the presbytery, they shot the above–mentioned ones. First, they were beaten up badly, because the dead RiPs had bruises on their bodies, and the son Yaroslav and the maid had broken hands. Fr Wojtowycz received 8 bullets. The dead were found arranged on beds with their heads covered with pillows.
All property, horses with a cart, cows, wardrobe, household [illegible], the bandits took their food supplies with them. By chance, they left alive a nephew of Fr Wojtowycz RiP, who slept in the attic, where the bandits did not come. Anna Wojtowycz is seriously injured and is in the Soviet military hospital in Przemyśl  […]

Protocol of the murder of Polish bandits on 3 Ukrainians in Nehrybka prepared by the secretary of SB‑OUN 'Łuhowy':
On the night of May 6–7 [1945] at 11.30 am unknown bandits attacked a priest in the village of Nehrybka, murdering 3 people and 2 hurting. Murdered:
Wojtowycz Petro — born 10 March 1885 in Hubycze (pr[iest]);
Wojtowycz Stefanija — born 1887 in Sośnica (wife of pr[iest]);
Wojtowycz Jarosław — born in 1916 (son).
Wounded: the priest's sister and maid, who were taken to hospital in the morning. During the attack, everything was looted. In the morning, the Bolsheviks from the camp came for the inspection. They investigated and followed in the footsteps of one Pole in Optyń (a Polish colony), where they found a priest's cassock. They arrested this Pole, his daughter and son‑in‑law. After this action, the Bolsheviks gave grenades and several rifles to the men in the village of Nehrybka.
