[The Ukrainians] murdered the parish priest, Fr Władysław Jacniacki and 4 Poles in the presbytery. The Ukrainian historian M. Siwicki says that that day he died in that village. several Ukrainians. And: „on May 30, 1943 the Ukrainian militia murdered Wielosz Tomasz teacher”.

The UPA murdered 5 Poles: Fr Władysław Jarnicki, aged 454, his sister Aleksandra Jacniacka, serving by the priest Maria Bartoszczyk with her 13‑year‑old son Stanisław; and Tomasz Wielosz, reserve officer of the Polish Army. In the next attack, the UPA murdered 25 Poles – 30 Poles in total.
