The Banderites murdered 2 Poles: a father and a minor son. „In the course of the investigation, it was established that in the period 1943 – 1944 in Modryniec there were numerous killings of the Polish population committed by Ukrainian nationalists against the Polish civilian population. It was a consequence of a large–scale action carried out in the Hrubieszów county, aimed at the physical extermination of the Polish” population living in this area.
