Rusyn” Easter – IPN investigation into the murder of Antoni K., committed by Ukrainian nationalists on April 17, 1944 in the village of Miętkie, and the shooting by the Germans in November 1943 in Hrubieszów of Jan K., who was previously arrested by Ukrainian policemen from the post in Sahryń (File No. S. 2/00 / Zi). Stanisław K. informed the OKŚZpNP in Lublin that on April 17, 1944, Ukrainian nationalists murdered his father Antoni K. It happened when Antoni K., together with other acquaintances, left Tyszowice to the town of Miętkie. While his companions departed towards Andrzejówka, three members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army approached Antoni K. These attackers, with the help of heavy tools, dealt numerous blows to the victim on the head and poked out the eyes. This fact was reported to the family members of the murdered by random people who came across the body of Antoni K. As it was established in the investigation on October 27, 1943, Stanisław K.'s brother, Jan K. (a member of the Home Army), was arrested by Ukrainian policemen from the police station in Sahryni and put in custody. During his detention in the above–mentioned detention center, he was abused. At the beginning of November 1943, Jan K. was transported to the Gestapo headquarters in Hrubieszów, and then, following the judgment of the Emergency Court of the Chief of Police and Security of the Lublin District on November 2, 1943, he was murdered. he was arrested by Ukrainian policemen from the police station in Sahryń and placed under arrest. Myrosław Onyszkewycz „Orest Karat” gave the order: „I order you to purge your area immediately from the Polish element and Ukrainian–Bolshevik agents. The purge should be carried out in riverside hostels sparsely populated by Poles. To this end, create a militia near the area, composed of our members, whose task would be to eliminate the above–mentioned. Our larger hostels will be cleared of this element by our military units even in broad daylight  […] The clearing of the area must be completed before our Easter so that we can celebrate it without Poles. Remember that when the Bolsheviks find us with Poles in our territory, they will slaughter us all  […] Make a hard, ruthless fight with them. Not to spare anyone, even in mixed marriages. To take Lachs out of their houses, but The Ukrainians and children in these houses should not be liquidated  […] Get the gun. Death to the Poles. Stop, April 6, 1944. Glory to the heroes! Orest, Karat” This order is in the files of the investigation against Myroslav Onyshhevych.
