Among the 20 murdered Poles was Marian Czechowski: „ […] called from home, the body was found hanged in a grove on a tree, his body was stripped of its skin […] As it turned out later, during the funeral of the victims, the cemetery was surrounded by an armed UPA band and they threw the Poles participating in the funeral into empty dug pits and buried them alive. About 20” people died this way.

Materials from completed, i.e. discontinued investigations, are not published by the Institute of National Remembrance, including the testimonies of witnesses so important for the National Remembrance, which allows to raise the question about the purpose and meaning of these investigations.
