UPA and Ukrainian SS men from SS „Galizien–Hałyczyna” murdered 40 Poles: 26 from the village of Maleniska and 14 refugees from other villages; 7 people from the village of Czernica, from the village of Poczajów, county Krzemieniec 1 person from the village of Orzechowczyk 1 person from the village of Wierzbowczyk 5 Poles: Jan Dajczak aged 22 and siblings of the name Strąg: Franciszek b. 01/01/1927, Maria b. September 22, 1931, Rozalia b. March 6, 1921 and Stanisława born November 16, 1935.
