Malechów
As a result of the denunciation of the Ukrainians, 11 Poles were arrested, 10 of whom were murdered: Fr parish priest Władysław Sarna, curate, 2 nuns, 2 women, Home Army radio operator, Home Army non–commissioned officer and organist. „In the presbytery in Malechów, there was a secret radio station from the Home Army's Lviv Area Headquarters. 21 (27).11.1943 arrested by the Germans on the basis of a Ukrainian denunciation, together with the vicar, Fr Bolesław Józef Mróz, and four nuns. During the search, the Germans discovered not only a radio station, antennas but also hidden weapons. He was beaten on the spot and tied with barbed wire. Imprisoned in Lviv in prison at ul. Łącki. The truth shot / murdered together with 9 other prisoners, prob. in the sandpit on the Wuleckie Hills in Lviv”.
