On April 14 or 16, 1945, in the forest near Łukawiec, they murdered a 25‑year‑old policeman from Wielkie Oczy, Tadeusz Szechyński. 1920 and a teacher in Wielkie Oczy, Wilhelmina Wilczyńska, 23.
