Excerpt from the situational report of 'T', the clerk from the Przemyśl district of the OUN on the death of Ukrainian women in Łódź by Polish bandits:
„On December 23, 1945, at 10.00 p.m., a group of Polish civilians, numbering 25 people, attacked the village of Łodzina. They plundered the countryside heavily, beat people, poured hot water on them, and stabbed them with knives. They put two girls on the ground and poured hot tar on their heads, and as a result they died after a few hours”.

„Simultaneously with Hłomcza, the villages of Łodzina and Witryłów were attacked by the Banderites. The attack was carried out by Bajda's unit [kuren], composed of four sotnyas, whose commanders were: Hromenko, Łastiwka, Burłak and Kryłacz. The most tragic was the result of this action in the village of Łodzina, where 13 people were murdered, including the husband of my cousin Julia”.
