In February 1945, the commander of the local UPA gang, Iwan Jarosz, had his sister–in–law, Jadwiga Ludwika Jarosz née Cieśla, born in 1915 because she was Polish.

The following were murdered: Cieśla Maria, Cieśla Eugenia, Głośna Zofia, Horobiowski N (a Ukrainian for refusing to kill a Polish wife), his wife and two sons, Jarosz Ludwika (a Pole and sister–in–law of Ivan Jarosz's gang), Laskowski Jan, his wife Katarzyna and their son Bronisław, 17, and daughter Antonina, 13, Morawska N., Pankiewicz N. (female), Pańczuk Józef (Ukrainian), Pańczyszyn Michał (Ukrainian), Simon Józef, his wife Józefa, Sobecki N., Sobecka N., Storczuk Anna, Unger Joanna aged 4, Unger Tadeusz aged 1, Wierzbowski Józef, Wiśniewska Zofia (Ukrainian), Czajka N. with the whole family.
