Probably in November 1944, as the witness claims that „lay the first snow of”, the Bandera followers murdered 5 people from 2 Czach families; the wife of Józef Czach (who was then in the army) and their children: 3‑year‑old Łucja and 4‑year‑old Stanisław, and wife of Bronisław Czach, pregnant, and antoni Świderski (grandfather). Wounded Bronisław Czach survived. „The bloody crime took place near Otynia in 1944 in the village of Lipniki between Hołoskowo and Uhorniki. The Czach family – my close family from my mother's side – fell victim to Ukrainian nationalists. On that day, at home were: Bronisław Czach, his pregnant wife and wife of Józef Czach and their children – Łucja and Stasio – my cousins and grandfather – antoni Świderski. The Ukrainians knocked on the door during the night shouting: «– Czach, Bronek! Open the door, we know each other». It was their common way – the murderers spoke Polish, sometimes in this way they did not arouse suspicions. «– Open up, we want to see if there are any aliens at your place». When the Bandera followers began to break down the door, the residents wanted to hide in the attic. They did not make it. after breaking into the house, the mother of two children was overwhelmed, and the Ukrainian shouted – see how the Polish regime is now (dir – dir). First, they killed three‑year‑old Julcia, and then a year–old Staś. They were both lying on the bed, and next to them was their mother – the wife of Józef Czach, who was in the army at that time. The children were murdered in front of their mother. Uncle said that Łucja was killed quickly, and Stasio was screaming and crying for a long time. They probably killed him with a knife. In the corridor stood antoni Świderski, the wife of Bronisław Czach and Bronisław, at whom the Banderites were targeting. When the Ukrainian fired a shot at his wife, Bronek rushed towards her, the Ukrainian fired a second shot. The bullet bounced off the wall, cut through his forehead, but not through the bone. Uncle was covered with blood, the attackers thought that he was already dead. He woke up when there was no one left and his wife was still showing signs of life. Perhaps the child was still alive in the womb. Bronek felt a strong headache, because apart from the shrapnel, he smashed his head, falling to the floor. antoni Świderski tried to escape through the porch, but the Ukrainians caught up with him and beat him so badly that his limbs were broken, his head was shattered and his bones protruded from his clothes. Bronek, shocked, ran to Otynia in his underwear to tell about everything. He was freezing, the first snow was lying. He died in 1998 and the sight of his murdered pregnant wife did not leave him until the end. Back then I was too young to understand it while after the war, uncle Bronisław passed on the course of this crime to his family. a funeral was held. My father arranged for coffins, a car. I have not seen the body itself. They wanted the child to spare this sight. But I was there – I saw traces of the crime. Blood stains in the rooms, on the floor everywhere. I was there with my dad. There was a big stain on the wall. Dad pointed at it and said – remember – this is grandpa's brain. I will never forget that”. .
