The UPA massacred 28 Poles aged 2 to 77, whole families, including those who had been tortured and burned alive. And: In the village of Stare Sioło, on the night of March 28–29, 1945, they murdered the pregnant Rozalia Gancarz–Zawada (or Garncarz–Zawada) d/o Jan b. 1910, Marcin Janiżek, 75, Pelagia Jamniak, 34, with his 10‑year‑old son.
