A Pole Konopnicki was invited to a family celebration of the baptism of a child by a Ukrainian neighbor, Paciuk, which turned out to be a trick, the Bandera followers were waiting for him and tied him up and tortured him: they gouged out his eyes, knocked out his teeth, pulled out his fingernails, and then tied him to trees, poured kerosene and set fire to them.
