On 12/13 December, an armed gang in Latacz (Zaleszczyki district) attacked the house of the blacksmith Domański at night and murdered the whole family, six people in total.

The Ukrainians robbed and burned 3 Polish farms and murdered 9 Poles, including the 6–person Karpiak family. The following died: Maria Karpiak, aged 42, sons – Józef, 23, Władysław, 18 and Sigismud, 6, and their daughters Genowefa, 20 and Zofia, 8, her husband and father, Stanisław Karpiak, survived.
