The UPA deceptively gathered Poles in one house, offering them to sign an act of loyalty to the UPA in exchange for a guarantee of security, in order to brutally murder them here. About 60 Poles died in this massacre, their farms were plundered and burned. The inhabitants of the neighboring Polish colonies of Antonówka, Niesześć and Grad, seeing the broken broken ones, run to the forest and set up a camp here.
