The gamekeeper Jan Januszczak and his son were murdered in the forest by the UPA. The son's name was Stanisław.

Kuźmina
UPA from sotnya „Burłaki” killed 18 Poles: 8 civilians and 10 soldiers of the Polish Army. Others (including Ukrainian sources) give the date 22 October and the number of victims: 90 civilian Poles and 11 soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces, moreover, 100 people were injured and the village was burnt.
