Kurdwanówka
The local Ukrainians attacked two Polish houses and murdered 6 Poles. They hacked the 16‑year‑old Jadwiga Skotnicka with the ax, and the 9‑year‑old Bronisław Skotnicki chopped off his arms and legs, demanding that his mother and sisters were hiding. They hacked 70‑year‑old Petronela Wójda with axes, a 50‑year‑old married couple Aniela and Michał Wójd, and burned their 6‑year‑old daughter alive. The 16‑year‑old Genowefa Skotnicka with an ax cut to the head and cut off ear, and her 45‑year‑old father with a cut wound to the head, survived. The murderers found him in May 1944 in the village of Olesza and murdered him.
