The Banderites murdered a friend of the Hutsuls, Engr. Witold Tyski with his family, a little daughter survived, hidden behind a curtain under the table.

Krzywopole
Krzywopole near Żabi madleśnictwo Worochta (Czarnohora) – he was murdered in a forester's lodge by the UPA forester (engineer forester). Witold Tyski, while his wife Zofia Tyska (née Popielów Eyskof), an employee of the forest district office, was shot while trying to escape from the house. Before the war, Zofia Tyska worked as a ski instructor, and later in the Vorochta Forest District. Before the war, Witold Tyski and his wife Zofia ran a KTN shelter on Maryszewska Street, and after its destruction, he found employment in the State Forests.
