During the third attack in January, the Bandera followers murdered 15 Poles. „Seventeen‑year‑old Wiktor Kopociński and aunt Agnieszka (from Meryszczów) died from my family. The boy was cruelly tortured. First, they cut off his left leg, then removed the skin from his forehead and sprinkled salt on it. When he was still showing signs of life, he groaned and begged for death, they skinned his loins and torso, sprinkled salt on him. His chest was punctured by knife blows. Aunt Agnieszka was stripped naked, two pegs were stuck under the shoulder blades and one in the area of the dimple under the breasts. Three sheaves of rye straw were brought, set on fire and their own bestiality was watched. A family of five was also murdered that day. The parents were hanged with their feet up to the ceiling, pegs stuck in their mouths. A fourteen‑year‑old son was tortured by breaking his legs and arms alive, and two little granddaughters, Jola and Stasia were hanged by their insides on the fence […] Father Florek, a seminarian, came to the funeral, and at the end of the ceremony said: «God remembers everything. The day of payment will surely come». These words meant that when he was returning from the funeral, he was attacked by several Bandera followers who snatched him from the crowd. They dragged him about 100 meters, then threw him on a sledge and drove off towards Zaciemny. The next day, his saw–cut body was dropped off at the village”.
