Excerpt from the situational report of the political clerk of the OUN 'Chłodny Jar' district, Petr Kawuzy 'Taras', about the murder of a Ukrainian in Kreców by soldiers of the Polish Army and members of MO:
„On January 6, 1946, at 7 am. In the morning, the Polish Army together with the Citizens' Militia from Bircza attacked Dobra. One group from this unit, while passing through the Kreców, shot and killed Stepan Szwajłyk, who was running away with the horse to the forest, and shot Hryć Olijar, who was also escaping on horseback”.
