Excerpt from the list of Ukrainian victims from the village of Korczmin prepared by Mykhail Leśkiw:
Civil victims of Korczmin:
Bedryk Wasyl — in the village called Kruczkaw, s/o Hryhorija and Kateryna, born on in 1904, arrested by Poles in his own home and tortured on the spot, then taken with his sister Pelahija to Tomaszów Lubelski, where he was further martyred. It probably took place in front of his sister who, seeing her brother fall to the ground, takes all the 'blame' on herself. He is released from Tomaszów and after a week he dies from being beaten
”.

Excerpt from Josyp Łapczuk's memoirs about the murders of Ukrainians in Korczmin by the armed formations of the Republic of Poland and the USSR:
During the next raid, Iwan Gadowski (37), a member of the OUN, to whom 'strybki' ['galants' from Machnów — BH] burnt alive his father and the farm did not have time to hide. Militia from Belz surrounded the house where he was hiding and arrested him. On the way to Bełz, they beat him terribly. In the end they tied him to a horse and dragged him for a few kilometers, then killed him while unconscious”.
