During the funeral of 9 Poles abducted and murdered by the UPA, the funeral procession was shot by them, as a result of which a 17‑year‑old boy from Zabrze named Kukiełka was killed and 5 people were injured. On that day the UPA, the s/o a lineman from the village of Opulsko, shot a 40‑year‑old Polish woman named Micaj on the bridge.

[The Ukrainians] abducted and murdered 9 Poles, including women, from their homes near the school building; During their funeral, the Bandera followers shot at the funeral procession, killing a 17‑year‑old Pole and injuring 5 other people, including a priest and a gravedigger. Also on that day, the UPowiec shot one Pole on the bridge and one Pole was missing without a trace; in total, the Ukrainians murdered 12 Poles at that time.
