The OUN militia murdered 8 Poles. „On 4 V 44 at 24 regional militia carried out a retaliatory action in the village of Komarniki, Turczański district. Two swarms took part in it. The result of the action: 9 farms burnt and 8 men killed. The rest fled into the fields, because with so many people it was impossible to surround the whole village properly. Ammunition and explosives exploded during the operation. There were no casualties on our part. The action was completed at 1.30”.
