general info
Złoczowiecka
The Ukrainians murdered 15 Poles after being tortured. The Ukrainians from the neighboring village of Złoczówka set fire to Polish farms. The fleeing Poles were captured and tortured, cutting off various parts of the body, depriving them of their eyes, and then throwing the mutilated into burning houses, e.g. Klimowicz family of 5 with 2 sons and a daughter. The screams of the murdered were accompanied by the beating of drums, the sounds of pipes and violins played by the watching Ukrainian peasants.
