On the night of August 21, 1943. Kluwińce area Kopyczyńce. About 23.30 The Ukrainians murdered three Poles and injured one. The murdered were: Jan Kostecki, former PP constable, now a farmer, Trojanowski Tadeusz, former inspector of schools in the Rawa Ruska county, currently an accountant at the farm, Sroczyński Roman, also an accountant from near Krakow. Fleszar Zbigniew was injured, also an employee of the farm  […] In connection with this murder, a local Greek Catholic priest was arrested. Proskurnicki and his son Stefan, who are moral perpetrators of the crime. Stefan Proskurnicki, the former commander of the Ukrainian militia, is also accused of murdering 6 Poles returning from the prison in Berdyczów in 1941 when the Germans entered our territory.

The Banderites dressed in uniforms of Soviet soldiers attacked Polish homes and murdered 13 Poles. As the men managed to escape and hide, Ukrainian „partisans” took the women and children and drove them towards Studnica – Zofiówka, where they murdered them, including a mother with daughters aged 16 and 19, girls aged 18 and 20 and one 12‑year‑old boy.
