Jureczkowa
1947 January 9, typescript [near Bircza] — Fragment of a report by 'Boyczuk', an OUN clerk from the 'Chłodny Jar' district, about the murders of the Ukrainian population in Jureczkowa by the staff of the MO post in Wojtowa:
„On April 2, 1945 [militiamen ] surrounded Kmetyk Pelagia's house in the village of Jureczkowa and asked where her son was. She replied that she did not know. Then they set fire to the house and threw wood and ammunition to make it burn better and no one came over to put it out. Returning from the village, they arrested Ołenyszyn Mykola, whom they murdered on the farm. On the way, they stopped by Maslak Michał, took his son and robbed a sewing machine, locksmith tool, and in Maslak Marji a sewing machine and many other things. They took Kmetyka Jacek, Maslak Jacek and Musat Jacek with them. To this day, there is no news of them. The above–mentioned people were taken after Zalewski Josyf reported. They took the bicycle from Maslak Michał […]
In May 1945 [the police] arrested: Saganowski Piotr, Petryk Teodor, Kuźmiński Maciej and Szamuniak Iwan, whom they took to Przemyśl and there is no news of him to this day. The reason for his arrest was the murder of Kuźmiński (a Pole)”.

Jureczkowa
After the attack on Wojtkowo, the UPA went to the village of Jureczkowa. There they pulled out the 18‑year‑old sister of a policeman from Wojtkowo, Halina Perłakowska. They tied her arms and legs and strapped her to the saddle on a long rope. One of the Banderites galloped her after her horse several times through the village. When they untied her, she was dead.
