In the Mały Jesiniec village in Kowel county [the Ukrainians] murdered several Polish families.

With a pitchfork, axes, shovels, etc., they murdered 26 Poles. Kazimiera Karaniewicz, 25, was forced under a raised oak sill, after which it was crushed. They stabbed 30‑year‑old Władysława Bielecka, 44‑year‑old Jan Kiciak and his daughter: 15‑year‑old Irena (previously saved from the attack on the church in Kisielin) and 12‑year‑old Paulina.
