The Banderites murdered 2 Poles: doctor Lachowicz and an employee of the Berestecki tobacco factory. „Dr. Lachowicz Wojciech, former senator and mayor of the city of Czortków”, was murdered in Jagielnica al. Czortków.

The Ukrainians murdered Kazimierz Korczyński. „Of all the people who were kidnapped, only the body of Korczyński Kazimierz, a chimney sweep in Jagielnica, was found. His body was found in the forest by his wife on 7 May. Korczyński had his fingers, hands, ears and mouth cut off and he had a number of” cut wounds in his body.
