In Huta Szklana village in Kostopol county [Ukrainians] murdered 5 Poles: Józef Chorostecki „was chopped in half with an ax. They raped a minor”.

In March 1944 our village Huta Szklana in Łopatyn municipality was attacked by the Banderites, among whom was man called Diduch from Ohladów village. They murdered five people, shooting, killing off the wounded. Joseph Chorostecki' sister was cut in half with an ax. A minor was raped.

The UPAs robbed and burned Polish farms and murdered 21 Poles, and after some time another 9 Poles, including Franciszek Hoffman, who was 100 years old – here the Ukrainians exceptionally murdered only men over 14 years of age, they allowed women and children to escape.
